ARIZONA
Some landscape photos from travel:
Woodpeckers live in cactus! They say that it is because cactus provide really great protection from heat and cold. I do wonder how they peck through with the cactus needles.
Inside of a cactus. Neat-o.

Woodpecker home! See the hole at the top of the cactus? Love how the branches frame the cactus :)
An artist Chiluly (I think that's the spelling) was featured in the desert botanical gardens. He is the guy who did the ceiling work at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. You know those glass shells? (A t least that's what I had heard)
There are trees too and not just cactus in Arizona. Gorgeous!

SF
Here they be the SF photographs with the point and shoot :)
Tested out some photoshopping techniques on these -wheeeeee fun!
The music video at the end is so fun, I must have played it at least 6-10 times in a row. Such a happy song , I don't think you can sing along without smiling, none of the words in the song are make your face muscles go frowny.
Oh and if anyone knows where I can find the mp3 file for this I will be ever so grateful. (I tried Itunes but the one with audiosurf doesn't come up.) Basically the one with the guy singing behind the "ill fly away" chorus part. Fine, I'll be ever so grateful by purchasing a drink. Or yogurt.

AQUARIUM
I got to visit a awesome aquarium which was a camera taking dream come true. There were so many folks taking pictures and you can see why right? Ocean life is so interesting...
Even this kelp looks so cool~
A school of fish taken just as they hit the beams of light from the surface...
The jellyfish exhibit was quite incredible to see...
One of my favorites taken from the day--I love the blue tones:
These guys were so-o cute, about the size of a penny...ok I think it probably would have been more interesting to state some facts about these creatures but I was so busy oohing and ahhing how awesome they were, I kinda didn't get a chance to...
How cool are they? There was this area where an jellyfish display was within a hallway with entire wall to wall from floor to ceiling showing of jellyfish. Quite an incredible thing to see.

BEACH
Winter time beach shots! It was unseasonably a fabulous day at the beach to take some awesome images at the beautiful 17 mile at pebble beach and surrounding shores.
This one is bird island, there are SO many birds on that island, you can look through one of these telescopes to see--pretty cool!
Some flare shots, dang look how beautiful the color of the ocean is, stunning~
Seriously, I can't decide but which do you prefer? Color or black and white? I can't seem to make up my mind about this, I like the color because there is a vibrancy added with the subject and mood of the picture, but the black and white really--for me--has the subject pop a little bit more...

SKI
A group of friends went on a quick day trip to skiing this past Saturday. Though myself and a friend didn't get to actually ski while the others did, we had alot of fun just talking and chilling. Definetly chilling, it must have been at least 20 degrees right? I'd run outside take a picture and run back into the lodge because it was freeezing! I know typical California girl talk. haha~
They had a snow blowing machine because it wasn't really snowing heavily enough around the area.
Some of the guys decked out in their ski gear~yeah you really have to cover up this much--it was so-o COLD! I was feeling pain in my hands 5 minutes out there without gloves, yikes!
Played some air hockey after lunch

I never get sick of jump shots--awesome~

EUREKA
So I was able to travel to Eureka for the weekend and what better opportunity than not to take pictures again.
I took this shot while riding in the car going back home--possibly hippie cloth?
This one I took while we were on the beach during sunset. I couldn't capture how it really felt but man it was beautiful~
I love the colors on this one...
Some more pictures from the car~I love how the sun rays are just beaming through the bushes/clouds...

CANADA
Hey Guys! Sorry it has been TOO long since I updated. I recently went on a fantastic vacation with some friends up to Canada. This is more of my artsy pictures more than anything else...if you guys just want to see the snapshots of my trip, email me and I will send you the link. (If I know you that is hehe :D )
So here is my trip to Canada!
Here is a picture of the long long LOOOOOOOOONG line of cars that go into Canada. People were getting out of their cars, playing in the grass nearby, using the bathroom, etc.
Ok skipping ahead we made it to the hotel room, and took some cool portrait shots:
Ah yes, he has a brilliant idea!
Ooh, nice blanket.
Skip ahead a little more and we are on the ferry to head off to Victoria!
This is the second level of the ferry, right behind him is the bus where all the cars get and drive immediately off the boat....we are waiting here because as soon as the boat docks, we just walk right on out and ride our bus that's waiting for us on land.
Ok so we finally made it to Victoria and having fantastic tea time at the Empress Hotel. Ooh yeah look at this delicious food:
After eating, we go out for some shopping:
Back on the ferry to go home, they have some awesome views on the boat...
Back in mainland Canada, who can resist an awesome jump shot?
Ok I had her model for me heheh thanks!
Skip ahead to another day...while waiting at a restuarant thought we'd try some more model posing:
Ok the guys were feeling a bit tired and was taking a nap while we waited for food, I love how these came out!!!
Skip ahead...or behind....? Not sure which day it was, but it was during break time in our class:

Ok this is when we were waiting for our plane to go home--we were bored so we thought we'd do some more jumping shots. Not sure if our audience enjoyed it XD
